Pavilion B - Hotel Le Petit Manoir du Casino

It is our second summer visit to the Charlevoix region, and we were able to complete more activities than last time. Even before our first visit to the area, we set our expectations for a very rural area. Our goal is for the hotel to serve as a home base to return to after a long hike in the area, and it does that purpose very well. Last year, we went to the Metro in town for food. However, we did dine at the restaurant. This year, we actually had all our dinner meals at the restaurant. We purchased breakfast and our lunches from Metro. Everything was basically ready for us when we arrived. Last year, we checked in from the main building. This year, we saw improvements! Online check-in is now available! We used the online check-in and followed the instructions to collect our access cards from the reception desk in Pavilion A (greeted by Lucas). The shuttle bus service was excellent after a very long hike on the Parc national des Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie trail: Sentier de l'Acropole-des-Draveurs (900m accent). We had a pleasant conversation with one of the drivers. Last year, the hot tub felt cooler. This year, the temperature was a warm 37 °C. Game room-wise, I think the table tennis paddles could use a new set. The pool table felt was completely worn down and needed a refresh. Overall, the service we received matched our expectations.

The hotel was fine, though the pool and spa they are publicizing everywhere is not finished and therefore not accessible. The rooms were clean and the little kitchen setup was very useful.

Location is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are extremely clean and all renovated. The restaurant was really good and the staff was very friendly. The one tiny thing that I disliked about the hotel was the indoor pool. It was absolutely disgusting and I was really disappointed because the rest was so nice.

This is our second year staying at this hotel. Love everything about this place - clean, great location, welcoming staffs. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit Charlevoix

Spent a couple of nights earlier this week in this fine establishment and found the experience totally enjoyable. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise. It was the best cuisine we have experienced in this area for the last 30 years of trying various other spots. The price was competitive and even a little lower than the competition. Our 'go to' place for future visits.

Really nice hotel, not far from casino. Would need a bit larger parking space, since most people seems to not be able to park between the lines. Room was great, service nice too and mostly, not to expensive. You don't have to go to the casino to be able to enjoy that place!

Great for a family stay! The mini apartment had a stove, sink and everything needed to make a stay with a newborn and kids comfortable. We only stayed for 1 night so I went to the casino after the kids fell asleep. Although the wife stayed with the kids while I played, she says she felt very comfortable and relaxed during her stay.

Nice, quiet, relaxing with beautiful view. We stayed here for one night while visiting Charlevoix. It is definitely worth to stay at a riverview room. So beautiful to sit on the balcony to watch the river and Fairmont. the room has a small kitchenette and Metro grocery is just 5 mins away. Easy walk to Casino and Fairmont. Friendly staff. Will come back again and stay longer!
